A musical career…
Amy has worked as a session singer for her father Billy Nicholls and Pete Townshend (The Who) since she was a child. She’s worked regularly with producers Cass Browne (Senseless Things, Delakota, Gorillaz, Penguin Café, Deadcuts), Matt Whitehead (Dance/electronica producer) and her brother Morgan Nicholls (Muse, Senseless Things, Delakota, Streets).
Amy released two albums with the band Ladybear, as front woman and lead song writer. She featured on Morgan Nicholls’ album ‘Organised’ and co-wrote the single ‘Sitting in the Sun’, before Morgan went on to join Muse. Amy sang lead for M-Organ at the Brixton Academy whilst supporting Embrace.
Amy loves to gig and has a Christmas Charity song/video called ‘Festive Kind of Mood’.
“Having known and worked with Amy off and on for over thirty years, I’d say she’s one of the most wonderful people out there. Beautiful voice and a beautiful person. A joy to both work with and be around!”
